Newark Showground Future First Expo seminars to cover range of subjects to help you move forward

A series of seminars at this year's Future First Expo will cover a range of subjects to help you going forward, from considering careers in health or accounting to advice on digital marketing and creative thinking.

The seminar sessions will take place in time slots in the morning and afternoon tomorrow (Wednesday).

Each session will last around 30 minutes.

10.10am ­— SEMINAR 1

Michelle Place — Careers In Health

With over 350 careers in health, spanning clinical and non-clinical roles, the choice can be daunting.

Find out about some of the areas, and how to create a career pathway, from deciding which areas interest you to which subjects will support your aspirations, to securing work experience or other insights and getting that first role.

From apprenticeships that support your learning and career progression to university courses, find out which entry route to health is the one for you.

Francesca Tricarico and Charlotte Wilson, of Future Cloud Accounting ­— A modern day approach to a career in accounting

When you think of a career in accounting, do you think of grey suits, calculators and awkward conversations?

Francesca and Charlotte will talk openly and honestly about their fast-growing company, how to get into a career in business advisory and how to be a good people person.

They will also look at why digital accountancy technologies are the way forward and how social media can have a positive impact in business.

Future Cloud Accounting is a good example of a modern-day accountancy firm using cloud systems to help businesses grow and they will show you how.
