Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance offer charity fund raising adventure trips to Morocco and Tanzania
Two overseas challenges are on offer as part of fundraising efforts for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Hiking enthusiasts can take part in the Moroccan Three Peaks Challenge in the Atlas Mountains, which will take nine days to complete, and cyclists can take part in the six-day Kili 2 Coast cycle challenge.
The trek will include Mount Toubkal, which at 4,167m tall, is the highest mountain in North Africa.
The cycling challenge will see riders take on the 430km route over six days, beginning at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and ending on the Tanzanian coast.
Area fundraising manager Karen Carter said: “Our overseas challenges for 2020 offer our supporters the chance to do something amazing and an experience that they’ll never forget, all while raising vital funds for our beloved air ambulance.
“The Morocco Three Peaks Challenge and Kili 2 Coast cycle challenge are both once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
“As a charity, we receive no direct government funding, so challenges like this are truly valuable in helping us raise vital funds.”
