Bodycare to replace former Superdrug unit on Stodman Street as notice is placed in window




A new highstreet retailer is to replace the former Superdrug unit on Stodman Street.

Newark will soon have another shop in which they can purchase toiletries as well as health and beauty products, as several job notices were posted in bodycare's window.

Landlords have finished the works in the unit, but it is not currently confirmed when the store will open.

The store is looking for a manager, assistant manager, supervisor and various part-time roles.

Bodycare is part of GR & MM Blackledge plc founded in 1970 and has since expanded to employing more than 1,500 workers across its 130 stores — making a turnover of more than £130m in 2015.

The company also has an online click and collect service called bodycareplus.com where customers can find additional ranges of products.
