PHOTOS: Snow days across Newark and surrounding areas after Met Office issue yellow weather warning

As snow fell overnight, our readers have sent in some lovely photos of the wintery conditions where they live.

A yellow weather warning of snow has been in place for much of last night and today (Tuesday), and schools and businesses have been closed and events cancelled.

Our readers have been making the most of the snow day, with some making epic snowmen to sledging in Newark’s Sconce and Devon Park, and others taking some lovely snowy photos.
