Southwell Fire Station crew thank supporters after raising £780 for Firefighters Charity




Firefighters said a huge thank you to everyone who supported their charity car wash at the weekend.

Southwell’s retained fire crew (pictured) held the car wash at their Heywood Close station in aid of the Firefighters Charity.

The crew thanked those who supported them and announced they had raised £780.

Watch Manager Frazer Cross said: “We had a busy time on Saturday with a steady stream of cars between 9.30am and 1pm.

“We raised £782.70 for the Firefighters Charity.

“Thanks to everyone that came to have their cars washed and donated.

“We probably had about 70 to 80 cars to wash.”
