Southwell packed for festival

Thousands of people flocked to Southwell over the weekend for morris dancing, folk music and a continental market.
There was a particular focus on free events in Southwell town centre to get more people in the community involved.
Mr Mike Kirrage, the Gate to Southwell Folk Festival director, said that this was only made possible through the increased amount of tickets sold for the festival site.
He said: "It’s gone really well. We have a lot more things in town this year. It’s all been very well received.
"It’s been absolutely packed."
