Spoiling the view

My wife and I often call at the Millgate Museum, Newark, which is housed in an old riverside warehouse by the Trent.

In the museum there are many exhibits relating to Newark’s past and it needs a few visits to take it all in.

There are also great things for youngsters to do, wonderful exhibitions by professional artists and a lovely café with pleasant service.

The café is described as the café with a view so we sat at the window, but could see only a rusting hulk put there by British Waterways.

Why not put a couple of picturesque tugs in its place, and that would be a view.
