Stagecoach East Midlands offers free bus travel to servicemen and women past and present

Stagecoach East Midlands is showing its support for military personnel past and present this Remembrance Sunday.

As part of the company’s activities to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women, Stagecoach East Midlands will be offering free travel on Sunday (November 10) and Monday (November 11) to armed forces personnel.

Free travel will be available to passengers wearing their uniform or carrying a Military ID card/Defence Discount Card and to veterans wearing their badge on all services across the East Midlands.

Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “We are proud to be supporting armed forces personnel and veterans, by offering free bus travel on Remembrance Sunday.

“We appreciate and recognise the commitment the Armed Forces community has made to our country over the years and are delighted to be honouring our brave servicemen and women on Sunday.”
