Rollin Fabrications to celebrate 50 years by teaming up with Nottinghamshire businesswoman
Up to eight new jobs could be created as a steel fabrication firm prepares to celebrate 50 years of business.
Ollerton-based Rollin Fabrications has been in business since 1971 and is known for producing a range of products, including the starting gantry at Silverstone motor racing circuit.
Now — the company that currently has a 16-strong workforce — could expand as it teams up with Nottinghamshire businesswoman, TJ Duncan-Moir.
Mrs Duncan-Moir was named in the top 20 leading figures in the UK manufacturing industry just two years ago and says the company can build on its already successful foundations.
She said: "We have identified areas that Rollin Fabrications can diversify into and ways in which it can refine processes to support its new business development.”
She has been working closely with the company's managing director, Tony Heathcote, who is delighted at the input she has been having.
He said: "In the short time TJ has been with us, she has been a breath of fresh air for Rollin Fabrications because she has been able to look at the business from a completely different angle. It is opening all our eyes to all the new opportunities that are out there."
