Kim is a youth theatre leader and bar supervisor at the Robin Hood.

She said: “I, like so many of the members of the Robin Hood Theatre Company, am passionate about our little theatre, and for me being able to do something so small to help with the continued work of the means so much.

“Every single donation will make a difference in this difficult time for theatres.”

Like venues across the country, the Robin Hood Theatre has been closed since March because of coronavirus.

A theatre spokesman said: “We cannot wait to have our doors open to patrons again and Kim’s sponsored walk is definitely going to help us in the coming weeks to keep the theatre alive in those difficult times.”

It is Kim’s latest challenge since losing half her body weight. She has completed two Great North Runs and during lockdown has taken part in virtual running/walking challenges through Medal Mad, doing 358km and earning 26 medals.
