Honda motorcycle stolen from RPS car park on Sherwood Avenue, Newark
An 18-year-old was forced to quit his job after his motorcycle was stolen, leaving him with no transport.
Hayden Everett’s motorcycle was stolen from the RPS car park on Sherwood Avenue, Newark, between 10pm and 11pm last Tuesday (August 5).
Hayden didn’t notice his Honda CB125F, 2021, was missing until Thursday (August 7), when he needed to go to cadets around 4pm.
“The impact of motorcycle theft can be quite heavy,” said Hayden, “I had to quit my job because I had no transport to get to it and the train there doesn’t start until after two hours of getting there, so I have lost all my income and am now looking for a job here.”
Hayden has only lived in Newark for the last three months and said to only just learnt how common motorcycle thefts are in the area.
“It’s mostly young adults or even teenagers doing it, which isn’t right at all.
“I came here to get away from all the criminal activities happening where I last lived, and now I have this.”
The young man said that he is working closely with Nottinghamshire Police.
Anyone with information on the motorcycle can contact the police, referencing the incident number 0496_07082025.

Hayden is currently looking for a full-time job, ideally in retail or hospitality, to help cover his rent costs, ahead of ‘hopefully’ entering the RAF next year. He can be contact via his Facebook profile.
