Sunday fundraiser car boot sale in aid of little boy with rare epilepsy to take place at the Magnus Church of England Academy, Newark

A fundraising event in aid of a boy with a rare form of epilepsy, which can mean he has upwards of 150 seizures a day, takes place on Sunday.

Matthew Ash has organised an indoor car boot-style sale on October 27 at the Magnus Church of England Academy, Newark.

It is to help Kane Tinegate, who was born in May and suffers from Migrating Partial Seizures of Infancy, and has yet to leave hospital.

It is £10 per stall with free entry for buyers.

It opens at 9am.

There will also be a drop-off point for nappies, size 3/4, baby wipes, and other supplies.

Kane’s family say only 100 children worldwide have the rare condition.

Mum Shannon, 25, from Newark, said that despite Kane’s age, he was a little warrior.

Because of the amount of time Shannon, who has an older son Cole, 18 months, with husband Craig needs to spend at hospital, money is tight.
