Vale of Belvoir Rotary Club launch charity swimathon at Bingham Arena

A Rotary club has launched a charity swimathon, and is seeking individuals and team to take part.

Swimmers of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in the community swim event, to support both a charity of their choice and the Vale of Belvoir Rotary Club’s chosen charities.

Participants can take part as sponsored individuals or teams, and charities can also enter teams of sponsored swimmers.

Each team is given a lane for an hour, in which time they can swim as many or as few lengths as they want.

It will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 1pm onwards at the Bingham Arena.

70% of each team’s money raised will go towards their charity of choice, and the other 30% will go towards charities nominated by The Rotary Club of The Vale of Belvoir.

The event has been supported by Wyvern Engineering Services Ltd and T.M.S Hardware.
