NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the

Nottinghamshire County Council intends

not less than seven days from the date

of this Notice to make an Order, under

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-

No person shall:-

(a) proceed on foot,

in the following length of footpath at

Epperstone in the District of Newark

and Sherwood:-

Epperstone Footpath No.9

between grid reference points SK

6520 4832 and SK 6526 4798, a

distance of 350 metres.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition will

apply as follows:-

From Tuesday, 2nd January 2018 until

Monday, 2nd April 2018 inclusive.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER

GIVEN that during the period of restriction

there is no footpath alternative.

The prohibition shall apply to enable

works to be carried out and in respect

of the likelihood of danger to the public

and damage to the footpath. It may

also apply on subsequent days when it

shall be necessary. If the works are not

completed within 6 months, the Order

may be extended.

The prohibition is required to enable

installation of a new water main and in

respect of the likelihood of danger to the

public and damage to the footpath.

THIS CLOSURE WILL ONLY TAKE

EFFECT WHEN SIGNS INDICATING

CLOSURE ARE DISPLAYED

THIS NOTICE IS DATED THIS 14TH

DAY OF DECEMBER 2017.
