NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-No person shall:- (a) proceed on foot, in the following length of Footpath in the parishes of Ollerton and Bought-on and Edwinstowe in the District of Newark and Sherwood:- Ollerton and Boughton Footpath No.9 from its junction with Old Rufford Road at grid reference point SK 6482 6675 to the parish boundary with Edwinstowe Footpath No.7 at SK 6472 6671, a distance of approximately 110 metres. Edwinstowe Footpath No.7 be-tween The parish boundary with Ollerton and Boughton Footpath No.9 at grid reference points SK 6472 6671 and SK 6278 6621, Rufford Road, Edwinstowe a distance of approximately 2,010 metres. IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition will apply as follows:-From Monday, 10th September 2018 until Sunday, 30th September 2018 inclusive.AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction there is no definitive alternative route.The prohibition shall apply to enable works to be carried out and in respect of the likelihood of danger to the public and damage to the footpath. It may also apply on subsequent days when it shall be necessary. If the works are not completed within 6 months, the Order may be extended.The prohibition is required to enable installation of a replacement footbridge over Rainworth Water, and in respect of the likelihood of danger to the public and damage to the footpath.THIS CLOSURE WILL ONLY TAKE EFFECT WHEN SIGNS INDICATING CLOSURE ARE DISPLAYED THIS NOTICE IS DATED THIS 23RD DAY OF AUGUST 2018.Corporate Director of Place Nottinghamshire County Council County Hall West Bridgford Nottingham NG2 7QPFor more information contact the Rights of Way office on (0115) 977 5680
