Reader’s letter: Thank you to good samaritans

I would like to thank the kind people who came to my and my husband’s aid when I fell on ice outside Pratt and Gelsthorpe’s on Wednesday, December 6.

I must particularly thank Victoria from The Edge hair salon, who gave me shelter until my daughter arrived to help me get to Newark Hospital, given that I had been told I had a wait of up to 12 hours for an ambulance.
