The Nottinghamshire County Council (Cafferata Way, Newark) (Prohibition of Waiting) Traffic Regulation Order 2018 (3273)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that

the Nottinghamshire County Council

proposes to make an Order under the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as

amended, Traffic Management Act 2004,

as amended, and The Civil Enforcement

of Parking Contraventions (County of

Nottinghamshire) Designation Order

2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended,

the effects of which will be on the

following roads in Newark in the District

of Newark & Sherwood: -

1. to prohibit waiting at any time at the

following locations,

Cafferata Way (East Side)

From its junction with Beacon Hill Road

in a northerly direction for a distance of

10 metres

From a point 55 metres north of its

junction with Beacon Hilll Road in a

north easterly direction for a distance of

37 metres

From a point 170 metres north of its

junction with Beacon Hill Road in a north

westerly direction for a distance of 48

metres to its furthest extremity

Cafferata Way (West Side)

From its junction with Beacon Hill Road

to its furthest extremity including the

south west facing turning head

Written objections (stating grounds and

quoting ref. 3273) must be received by

me by the 15th January 2018.

The aim of the scheme is to improve

visibility and access to Cafferata Way

for HGVs that are currently having

issues accessing properties and making

manoeuvres at the roads turning head
