NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the

Nottinghamshire County Council intends

not less than seven days from the date

of this Notice to make an Order, under

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984. The effects will be in respect

of roads at Farnsfield in the District of

Newark and Sherwood: -

Vehicles are prohibited from

proceeding and stopping (both sides)

in the following lengths of road: -

1. Alexander Road, for its whole

length.

2. Branston Avenue, for its whole

length.

3. Brickyard Lane, for its whole

length.

4. Broomfield Lane, for its whole

length.

5. D’ayncourt Walk, for its whole

length.

6. Far Back Lane, for its whole

length.

7. Meadow Close, for its whole

length.

8. Ridgeway Close, for its whole

length.

9. The Ridgeway, for its whole

length.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition

respecting the above road or roads will

apply as follows (as and when legally

signed): -

From 00:01 hours on Monday 8th

January 2018 until 23:59 hours on

Saturday 20th January 2018 inclusive.

The Order will come into force on 8th

January 2018 and any prohibition

in it shall apply on that day and any

subsequent day when necessary to

enable works to be carried out. The

Order shall continue in force until the

works are completed (within a maximum

period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable

Via East Midlands Ltd to carry out

carriageway patching works.
