THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN NEWARK ON TRENT) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2018 (NK72-18)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Nottinghamshire County Council intends
not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order,
under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in
respect of roads at Newark on Trent in
the District of Newark and Sherwood.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. No person shall cause any vehicle to
proceed, stop, wait, load or unload in
the following lengths of road: -
a. Beacon Hill Road – between its
junctions with Eastern Terrace
Lane and Sleaford Road.
b. Eton Avenue – for its whole
length.
c. Sleaford Road – for its whole
length.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions
respecting the above road or roads will
apply as follows: -
a. From 07.00 hours Friday 4th
May 2018 until 23.59 Friday 31st
August 2018.
b. From 06.00 hours Sunday 20th
May 2018 until 23.59 Monday
1st October 2018.
c. From 06.00 hours Thursday 26th
July 2018 until 23.59 Friday 21st
September 2018.
The above dates may vary due
to unforeseen circumstances.
Advanced warning shall be posted
on site.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER
GIVEN: that during the period of the
restrictions the alternative routes will be
signed on site.
The Order will come into force on 4th
May 2018 and any prohibition in it shall
apply on that day and any subsequent
day when necessary to enable works to
be carried out. The Order shall continue
in force until the works are completed
(within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable
Severn Trent Water to carry out New
Sewer Installation and all associated
works
