The Nottinghamshire County Council (Victoria Street, Newark) (Residents Parking Places & Parking Places) Traffic Regulation Order 2018 (3267)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the

Nottinghamshire County Council HAS

MADE an Order under the Road Traffic

Regulation Act 1984, as amended,

Traffic Management Act 2004, as

amended, and The Civil Enforcement

of Parking Contraventions (County of

Nottinghamshire) Designation Order

2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended,

the effects of which will be on the

following roads in Newark in the District

of Newark & Sherwood:-

1. to introduce Limited Waiting Bay

Mon to Sat 8am to 6pm 2 hours no

return in 3 hours on the following

roads:-

VICTORIA STREET (SOUTH WEST

SIDE) - From a point 6m south west

of its junction with Spring Gardens

in a south westerly direction for a

distance of 108 metres.

2. to introduce Residents Permit

Parking on the following roads:-

VICTORIA STREET (SOUTH WEST

SIDE) – From a point 6m south west

of its junction with Spring Gardens

in a south westerly direction for a

distance of 108 metres.

(b) Newark Library, Balderton Gate,

Newark, NG24 1UW

The order will come into force on 8th

May 2018

The proposals are required to improve

parking provisions for local residents

while maintaining limited waiting parking

for access to local businesses.
