Hear4U marks 30 years of audiology services in the East Midlands including branch in Newark

A family-run hearing care provider is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Hear4U, which has a branch in Newark, was established in 1994 by Samantha Bennett and began its operations from her family home in Stoney Stanton, providing office consultations and home visits.

In the past 30 years the company has grown, first with a move to a dedicated shop in Hinckley and later created a network of clinics in Leicester, Rothwell, and Newark, which offer services including earwax removal, hearing assessments, and hearing aid fittings, as well as community engagement events.

Samantha said: “I wanted a hearing service that was at the heart of the community. It was important to me that we had solid ethics and values with excellent customer service and outcomes. That whenever there were hearing-related concerns within the community, Hear4U was the first port of call. This dedication is why I continue to fight so hard to maintain high standards across all our sites.”

The business is now carried forward by Tyler Woolman, Samantha’s daughter, a second-generation audiologist with over eight years in the field. As the managing director of Hear4U, Tyler is now in charge of its operational aspects, steering the company through its continued expansion and service provision.

“Reflecting on the past 30 years, we recognise our growth and the continued trust of the communities we serve,” Tyler said.

“Our commitment to providing quality hearing care remains our priority as we celebrate this milestone. The clinic’s history is not only a story of expansion but also one of sustained, community-focused service and generational heritage in the field of audiology.”
