Coronavirus: Some primary pupils across Newark and Sherwood and Nottinghamshire back in classrooms today with different learning environment

Thousands of pupils across the district and county are back in their classrooms today — and will be coming to terms with a very different learning environment.

Some of those in reception, year one and year six will return and face significant changes to their surroundings to comply with strict government guidelines to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Barnby Road Academy, Newark, has implemented several changes, including staggered opening times with a one-way system for drop-offs.
