Nottinghamshire Police appeal for information after three blue BMW thefts at East Bridgford and Bingham in one night

There have been reports of three blue BMW car thefts in just one night.

It is believed the cars were taken between late evening on November 5 and 7.45am the next day.

One vehicle was stolen from College Street, East Bridgford, and two from Cherwell Gardens and Sorrel Drive in Bingham.

The theft at Cherwell Gardens is believed to have happened around 4.45am on November 6, despite the owners still having possession of the car keys.

Enquiries are being carried out by officers in relation to these thefts.

The incident number for the East Bridgford incident is 000118-06112019, Cherwell Gardens 000111-06112019 and Sorrel Drive 000105-06112019.

A further attempt to steal another BMW on Peacock Gardens at East Leake was made in the early hours of November 5. The incident number is 000222-05112019.

Police have urged anyone with information regarding these incidents to call 101.

Officers have also warned BMW owners and owners of keyless entry vehicles to park their cars in a position where it is more difficult to steal.

Officers will be paying attention to these areas overnight and vehicles being driven in the early hours of the morning.
