Three car crash on A1 north of Grantham has closed part of the major road and impacted traffic further north towards Newark, Nottinghamshire

A crash involving three vehicles is impacting traffic in the area.

The A1 is closed north of Grantham near Gonerby Moor and is subsequently causing queueing traffic south of Foston.

The crash occurred on the A1 Northbound from A52 (Grantham North / Barrowby Turn Off) to B1174 Great North Road (Marston Turn off).

There is congestion to routes through Grantham as traffic seeks an alternative option.
