Confirmed coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood reaches 2,560 (Saturday, November 21) according to Public Health England

Another 30 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures released by Public Health England.

It takes the total number of cases in the district since March to 2,560.

There have now been 20,923 cases in Nottinghamshire, an increase of 262, while in Nottingham city there have been 16,069, a rise of 86.

In Ashfield there have been 3,170 cases (up 45) Bassetlaw 3,234 (up 66) Broxtowe 3,091 (up 30) Gedling 3,173 (up 32) Mansfield 2,627 (up 38) and Rushcliffe 3,068 (up 21).

According to the latest public data, another 20,252 coronavirus cases were reported nationally, taking the total to 1,473, 508.
