Tops appeal

By Advertiser Reporter

A year ago the Advertiser reported that Turquoise Teapot in Newark was collecting milk bottle tops as a fundraiser for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghshire Air Ambulance.

Unfortunately the Turquoise Teapot has now closed and we have nowhere to take them.

I have carried on saving them as my son gets hundreds from work.

I am hoping there is someone who will want to continue this work as I want to carry on supporting the charity because in 2001 my son was airlifted by them after a road accident.

I know of several people who were donating tops who have asked the same question. — LORRAINE PRIESTLEY, Bowbridge Road, Newark.
