Coronavirus presents £186,000 revenue loss for Newark Town Council
Coronavirus has meant a known revenue loss to Newark Town Council of £186,000, it has been revealed.
It includes Newark’s markets, which have carried on through the pandemic but with diminished numbers of traders. The revised estimate for income is £100,000 — a loss of £130,000.
Public conveniences, which cost 20p to use, have also taken £16,000 less because there are fewer people going out.
