A free Steampunk festival is set to take place this weekend.

The Ministry of Steampunk is hosting a free festival in Newark on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be plenty going on in the town market place over the two days, including a themed market, live music, dance performances and hundreds of visitors dressed in Steampunk attire.

“The excitement is palpable, the businesses and people of Newark I have spoken with are happy that such a wonderful, polite and courteous folk are arriving to enjoy a weekend here.

“Steampunks are interactive and enjoy meeting people so this promises to be a superb time for everyone, so do stop and chat to us as we love to talk.”
