Tractors, motorcycles and vintage cars featured in Hoveringham Vintage Vehicle Society’s tenth annual rally and show in the grounds of the Marquis of Granby pub, on Sunday.

As well as the 126 vehicles, attractions included displays by the South Notts Hunt and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, and the Foresters Morris Men.

There was also a parade of about 20 Massey Ferguson tractors to mark the company’s 50th anniversary, plus stalls selling jewellery, cakes and plants.

Jo Bradley, of Hoveringham, attended with her son, Blake Handley (10).

Jo Bradley said: “Blake just loves tractors and vintage cars and the rally always has a lovely atmosphere.

“It is the biggest event that takes place in the village. When it started there were just a few tractors in one field but now there are three fields of exhibits.”

The chairman of Hoveringham Vintage Vehicle Society, Mr David Yates, said the event had attracted about 800 visitors.

He said: “The weather wasn’t so good but it still went really well from our point of view.”

Money raised from the rally will be divided between Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance, Hoveringham Cricket Club and Hoveringham Chapel Field Fund.
