Nottinghamshire Police launch appeal after violent attack at Newark nightclub

After a violent attack which left one victim unconscious, police have launched an appeal to identify two men.

Officers are investigating a violent incident which happened inside a nightclub in Newark.

A man was punched multiple times and was knocked unconscious, and a second male victim was also assaulted and sustained a swollen jaw.

It occurred at around 2am on Saturday, September 21, and police want to trace the two men pictured in a CCTV image who may be able to help them with their inquiries.

PC Ali Hussain, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a nasty incident and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice.

“To this end we believe the people pictured in this image may be able to help us with our inquiries and would urge them or anyone who knows them to get in touch.”
