Two men due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court after Nottinghamshire Police make charges relating to incident at Yorke Drive, Newark




Two men, aged 18 and 20, are due to appear in court after police were called to a disturbance.

Nottinghamshire Police officers attended Yorke Drive, Newark, around 2.15pm yesterday (Thursday, October 17) following reports a man was at an address he was banned from.

One came down after a short time and was arrested by officers while another man was talked down before being safely detained.

Jayden Mitchell, aged 18, of no fixed abode, and 20-year-old Rocky Price, of Tolney Lane, Newark, have been charged with remaining in or entering a premises in contravention of a closure order.

Price has also been charged with failure to comply with a court order.

Both are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, October 18).
