By Abigail Hunt

Notts Police are appealing for information following two Newark street robberies that took place within minutes.

A 22-year-old man was threatened with a knife and told to hand over cash by two men in Howes Court at around 6.13pm on Thursday.

When the victim said he had no money, he was punched in the head as the robbers took his carrier bag from him which contained a phone, car keys and DVDs.
