Reader's letter: Two sides




One regularly reads of customer-facing staff in a business getting abuse from members of the public. I can only concur, this is wrong.

However, the following comes to mind: “There are two sides to any story, I know mine so sod off”.

Though the other side is more appropriate: “There are two sides to every story, I know mine so let us sit and discuss yours’”.

Over recent months I have been into shops and, on occasion, the attitude of some staff certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

To all owners and managers in the business world, please remember that without customers, satisfied or unsatisfied, you have no business. ­— BRIAN CLARK, Balderton.
