Two boys who were just 15 have been incarcerated for robbing Collingham Post Office armed with a firearm and knife
Two youths who were just 15 raided a post office where the postmaster was smashed over the head with the handle of a knife.
During their getaway in a car stolen a day earlier in a burglary for the purpose of using it in the Collingham Post Office raid, one of the youths threw items including a hammer and drill at pursuing police from the speeding vehicle.
Nottingham Crown Court heard the two delinquents were part of a gang of three who had stormed into the post office armed with an imitation gun and a knife, escaping with £2,000 and cigarettes after accosting the postmaster.
