Newark Advertiser reader letter: Unacceptable behaviour
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has, by breaking the law — a law that he imposed on the rest of the country — clearly broken the Ministerial Code.
It seems equally important that, despite his education, he cannot see the difference between a party with its booze and cake, and a working party with its agenda and supporting documents.
Every time he makes his excuses and apologies, each becomes more unacceptable.
His recent behaviour and apologies have not only undermined the Conservative Party but also our parliamentary system and democracy.
Even with our current problems, such as the cost of living and the international tensions we face, Johnson is not the man to resolve these. — A. M. Meering, Sutton-on-Trent.
