Unrepentant




In reply to the letters of Michael Wilson and Ian Lawrence (News Views, May 14) I still maintain that the Church Of England was wrong to ban clerics from the bedside of their dying congregation, and to hide behind all this government speak is morally reprehensible.

I am not alone in thinking that the leadership of the Anglican church has been feeble. They should have fought for the right of everyone to enter a tranquil and beautiful church, to worship and pray and meditate alone.

Social distancing was always possible in our big parish church.
