A6097 at Lowdham re-opens after six fire engines called to large blaze

A road has re-opened after a large fire tore through a building this morning.

Six fire engines were called to a building next to a car garage on Lowdham Road, Lowdham, at 4.37am this morning.

The roof to the property was lost but the fire is now under control. A car next to the property was been ruined.

The A6097 has now re-opened following the incident.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it would investigate the fire later today.
