Number of coronavirus cases in Newark and Sherwood reaches 10,230 today (Sunday, August 1) according to Public Health England
A total of 60 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

In the last seven days there have been 541 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down 48 cases.
In the latest 24-hour period, there have been no new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 204.
According to the latest public data, 5,856,528 (up 26,144) patients in the UK have tested positive and 129,654 (up 71) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to July 30 is 46,811,298 (up 35,773) and the total for the second dose is 38,126,702 (up 164,295).
