Total of 75 coronavirus cases reported in Newark and Sherwood today (Tuesday, March 8) according to Public Health England
A total of 75 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood over the weekend, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Ashfield 37,627 cases (up 74) Bassetlaw 34,986 (up 61) Broxtowe 32,766 (up 79) Gedling 36,119 (up 71) Mansfield 33,297 (up 82) Newark and Sherwood 34,076 (up 75) Rushcliffe 36,040 (up 110) Nottingham city 100,596 (up 179) and Nottinghamshire 244,911 (up 552).
In the last seven days there have been 281 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is up 13 cases on the previous seven-day period.
There has been no new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 272.
According to the latest public data, in the last seven days 19,307,014 (up 322,917) patients in the UK have tested positive and 162,359 (up 729) people have died within 28 days of positive test over the same period.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to March 7 is 52,677,564 (up 4,596) the number with the second dose is 49,120,352 (up 13,522) and the booster 38,396,473 (up 19,321).
