Views about neighbourhood safety at Cleveland Square wanted by Newark and Sherwood District Council
A second community drop-in for residents to have a say on safety in their neighbourhood will take place at Cleveland Square Community Centre on Wednesday.
Cleveland Square residents and those in surrounding areas are invited to join district council staff between 2pm and 6pm to discuss improvement ideas and the chance to join groups like neighbourhood watch and litter-picking.
It is part of a series of three consultations as part of the Safer Streets project — a partnership to improve security in areas affected by crimes such as burglary, vehicle theft and robbery.
The residents of these areas are invited to attend: Bailey Road, Beech Avenue, Belvoir Crescent, Boundary Road, Bowbridge Road, Byron Close, Carlton Road, Cavendish Avenue, Clayton Close, Cleveland Square, Clumber Avenue, Gladstone Road, Holden Crescent, Montgomery Road, Quibell Road, Rutland Avenue, Staunton Road, The Crescent and Thoresby Avenue.
