More than 200 vehicles are expected to take part in the East Midlands Classic Vehicle Club Show in Sconce and Devon Park, Newark, on Sunday.

Club chairman Mr Alan Birkett, of Newark, said they were expecting a range of vehicles, including tractors, lorries, emergency vehicles, motorbikes and cars.

"There will be vehicles of 25 years and older," he said.

"We don’t refuse anything."

Last year’s event included vintage fire engines and police vehicles.

"We had lots of people come along," said Mr Birkett. "They really enjoyed looking at classic vehicles."

Trophies will be presented to the winners of various classes.

The event runs from 10am until 4.30pm.

Entry is free but there will be a tombola, raffle and competitions to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
