Virtual church service organised by Dean of Southwell hopes to celebrate front line workers

An online church service is to take place on Sunday to celebrate public service throughout the county — particularly the contribution of front line healthcare staff.

Due to take place on the Queen’s official birthday, the service was organised by the Dean of Southwell, the Very Rev Nicola Sullivan, and High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire Dame Elizabeth Fradd, who is a nursing administrator.

“This special service will have a particular focus on celebrating the NHS and the nursing profession in this International Year of the Nurse and Midwife,” said Dean Nicola.
