Voice for all
I see that the subject of a super council has raised its head again and, given the importance of such a prospect, I would certainly like to read the views of each borough and district council.
What is of even more concern is that the present county council, in seeking residents’ views on this important matter, has made its survey only available to those who can go online, thus depriving a quarter of the Nottinghamshire people (who cannot go online) a point of view.
To date, I do not believe all residents have received the pros and cons for either a super council or for matters to remain as they are.
Even taking into account present-day problems, Notting-hamshire should not be rushed into making what may be the wrong decision. — A. M. WADDINGTON, The Meerings, Sutton-on-Trent.
