Community Speed Watch launched by Newark Police

Training for the first Community Speed Watch was launched by police on Wednesday evening.

Newark Police trained members of the public who have volunteered to take part in the scheme.

The training took place in the Beacon Ward of Newark and police hope to establish the project in the Bridge Ward too.

Community Speed Watch aims to educate drivers on the perils of speeding and make roads safer.
