Reader’s letter: Waste of money

The past year’s main headlines have consistently been focused on the economy, food banks and in general the struggles many face.
What a dreadful waste of money for our MP Mr Robert Jenrick and local councillors to send Christmas cards to households. There can be few who don’t know what Mr Jenrick looks like and why he and councillors think I need their photographs in my home I’ve no idea!
If they could afford to do so then send the cost of them to charity.
