Newark: Residents experience thunderstorms after Met Office yellow weather warning issued

Newark has experienced several thunderstorms this week.

Pictures sent to the Advertiser show purple skies in the early hours of Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening.

This came after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning covering Newark and Sherwood earlier this week.
