Watch the moment Nottinghamshire Police officers force entry to drug den and discover huge cannabis grow at address on Whitewater Road, Ollerton

This is the moment officers forced entry to a drug den and discovered £90,000-worth cannabis.

A search warrant took place at an address on Whitewater Road, Ollerton, on Thursday at 11am and a 32-year-old man was subsequently arrested at the scene.

A total of 87 cannabis plants were recovered believed to be worth £1,000 each. The man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.

Neighbourhood Inspector Heather Sutton said: "We are always working to combat illegal drug supply in the Newark and Sherwood area. We work with various teams such as intelligence and the dog section and operate a number of covert and overt operations.

"We act on information received from our local residents and put measures in place to investigate suspected criminals. Drug-dealers prey on the most vulnerable in our society and we have a zero tolerance approach to this form of activity."
