Yellow weather warning in place for across East Midlands for Sunday (June 5)
Sunday's jubilee celebrations could be hit by thunderstorms, the Met Office is warning.
A yellow weather warning for storms is in place for across the Advertiser area from midnight.
The Met Office warns: "Thunderstorms developing over parts of England and Wales from early Sunday may cause travel disruption and, in a few places, flooding."
There is a high chance of rain across the district for most of the day and temperatures will not get above 12C.
The Met Office says fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible.
It warns flooding of homes and businesses could happen quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
Power cuts might occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.
