Weekend delays on A46

Bridge beams will be installed near Owthorpe junction this weekend as part of the dualling of the A46 between Newark and Widmerpool.

Temporary traffic lights will be on the A46, Cotgrave Road, Owthorpe, and Owthorpe Road, Cotgrave, from 6pm today to 6pm tomorrow. Delays are expected.

The road layout will change at the Owthorpe junction tomorrow afternoon once the beams have been lifted into place on the new bridge.

The Highways Agency is advising drivers to allow extra time for journeys.
