Newark Academy holds hard-fought head student elections

It has been head student election week at Newark Academy, following a rigorous campaign period.

Candidates were invited to take part in events, including question time and producing a campaign video that was shown across the academy community, to help students to make a well-informed choice on who they wanted to vote for as their next head students.

Last year’s head students, Bianca Eckert and Sophie Rouse, went along to pass the baton to their successors — Rowan Hunter and Anya Clark.
